什麼是FA? 什麼是PW?
今早上網,唔知查D乜,睇睇下見到 PW 係呢個綱站原來係咁解,咁就不如查埋 FA 的定義啦。
Free Agent - A person who works for himself pr herself and is not a permanent employee of a corporation. (refered from www.wordspy.com)
Portfolio Worker - A worker who holds multiple jobs or contracts in multiple fields with multiple companies. (refered from www.wordspy.com)
但我頂喜歡 Charles Handy 和 Dawn Chipman 分別在 The Age of Unreason 和 Across the Board 中所形容的:
"For portfolio workers, money comes in fits and starts from different sources. There may be a bit of pension. Some part-time work, some fees to charge or things to sell. Portfolio people lead cash-flow lives, not salary lives." By Handy.
"Portfolio workers, on the other hand, may spend a total of one week a month consulting, two weeks working part time for a major computer manufacturer, four days a month working on a book they are writing, and then another chunk of time studying. The result is a less secure but more fulfilling career." By Chipman.
呢兩個字的定義,相當特別,自己諗諗下,已經做左「自由人」有六個月,邊學邊做,呢份工好適合我。真係好 fulfilling!
試左咁多野,依家只集中響三個範疇: 1)策劃性培訓(組織或外展), 2)家庭評估並諮詢, 3)自由人職業導向
阿媽又忍唔住問我「搞」成點,重乜唔揾番份政府工…
我心裡只有默默禱告。
出埃及記16:4-5
「耶和華對摩西說：『我要將糧食從天降給你們。百姓可以出去，每天收每天的分，我好試驗他們遵不遵我的法度。到第六天，他們要把所收進來的預備好了，比每天所收的多一倍。』」

Hey Hougton,
You probably don't expect a response to this posting (so long ago!). Oh well, anyway, for the PW and fulfilling part, I think it really depends on the person. Some people like security, some people hate security. From your comment today (from your email: "without difficulty, I'll die from excess comfort.) it kinda reflect your advanturous character! : )
For the ah-ma comments ... expected gar la, right? I'm sure tomorrow she'll ask the "so when are you getting marry?" question. Different generation ma.
