News from the Tripbod Network
To start off with, a true story... Mr and Mrs B had been to Morocco, using the information provided by Tripbod Akim in Marrakech. When they heard about the chaos on flights due the the volcanic eruption, they took the next flight back to Paris, which was as close as they could get to London. They arrived at 9pm into Paris with no idea how to make the last leg of the journey back to England. But luckily, before they left Marrakech, they had contacted our Tripbod in Paris, Laure and asked where they could stay and what would be the next local train to Calais where they could get a ferry crossing. Laure provided them with details of a decent hotel with available rooms in between the airport and the train station ready for when they landed. 24 hours after leaving Marrakech they were at home again, having had an adventurous and relatively easy trip home. The volcanic eruption left many people stranded and in chaos. This story shows the value of having a local connection when you travel. There are still many people stranded out there and if you know anyone, please forward them this email with the discount code below. We are now offering a special act of God discount for those stuck out there. Just use the discount code “Act of God” when you are at the basket screen to receive 20% off (until end of April).
