Statement of Faith
You can find other "Market with Meaning" but you definitely want to see "Profit with Purpose".

Hello,
This week we look back on two spectacular events in the social enterprise space: The Global Entrepreneurship Forum and Oxford Jam – an innovative open forum for discussion on anything and everything.
We’re also looking at brand social enterprise. With Salesforce trying to claim the tag for its own, what should be our response? Is it time for social enterprise to come out fighting?
And of course we look at the biggest news to hit the sector in many a while – the launch of Big Society Capital. Finally a government dreams big and delivers.
All that, plus the latest news, events and jobs. Enjoy.

Salesforce is coming to the UK to talk about something it calls ‘social business’. Sound familiar? However, what does this mean for the sector in this country? Are we seeing a dilution of the terminology, or cynics jumping aboard the bandwagon? If so, how can we act against it? Rodney Schwartz has been giving it some thought.
All entrepreneurs need a little help along the way, but when Suzanne Biegel agreed to play mentor at the Global Entrepreneurship Forum, she found herself having to face her old fear of heights. Her challenge: survive two turns on the Big Wheel in Liverpool while handing out some sage advice.
This week we welcome back an old friend in the shape of former ClearlySo’er Richard Brownsdson. He’s been helping the good people at Oxford Jam and fills us in on the major lessons from an inspirational couple of days.
