The winners were announced last night (3 December) during a gala
reception held at the Royal Institute of British Architects building in London.
The big winner on the night was Brighter Future Workshop which
was presented with the award for the Best Social Enterprise of
2009.
Peter Cousins MBE, CEO of Better Future Workshop said:
"This is an incredibly exciting night for all of us and we are reallythrilled to have won. We believe in what we do and we can see the
difference we've made in the lives of many disabled people, both
through our recycling business and our training scheme, and
hopefully this award will enbale us to reach even more."
