What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Statement of Faith
You can find other "Market with Meaning" but you definitely want to see "Profit with Purpose".
I personally "Believe in Kingdom Transformation" because I know there is only ONE "Life for Significant".

Greetings,

Enterprising Non-Profits (enp) is an organization that provides technical assistance grants to non-profit organizations to support the development or growth of their social enterprises.

During March and April, enp will be offering their workshops across BC, so that non-profit organizations can learn more about social enterprise and how to gain access to enp grants.

(Attending the workshop is a requirement to apply for the grants).

The following is the list of upcoming workshop dates and locations:

  • Vancouver March 2 and April 22
  • Port Hardy March 16
  • Nanaimo March 18
  • Chilliwack March 24
  • Fernie March 30
  • Creston March 31
  • Vernon April 7
  • Osoyoos April 8

  • Terrace April 20
The workshops run from 9:30 to 3:30. The cost to attend is $100 for the first person from an organization and $50 each for 1-2 additional members of the same organization. Cost includes breakfast, coffee break, lunch and a copy of The Canadian Social Enterprise Guide.

Enp is a partnership of funding organizations including Coast Capital Savings Credit Union, Columbia Basin Trust, Northern Development Initiative Trust, Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust, Vancity Community Foundation, Vancity Credit Union, Vancouver Foundation, and Western Economic Diversification Canada.
