1. SEA changes dates for 2011Social Enterprise Summit SEA has changed the dates for the 12th Social Enterprise Summit, which will take place next year in Chicago. The Summit is now scheduled for Monday through Wednesday, October 31 - November 2, 2011 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile hotel. The Alliance moved the dates from the Spring of 2011 to the Fall in order to avoid a conflict with the 4th Social Enterprise World Forum in South Africa April 5 - 7. Additional details about the 2011 Summit will be forthcoming later this summer. 2. 2010 Nonprofit Tagline Awards now open* 3. Call for speakers for Social Enterprise Boot Camp at Columbia University The Net Impact chapter at The School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University is organizing the Social Enterprise Boot Camp in partnership with Bridge, a student group at NYU-Wagner, and entrepreneurshipEdge, a nonprofit in NYC that encourages entrepreneurship among young people.
