| | So much has been written about the environment in the past decade that it can be pretty easy to just tune it all out. Unless, of course, you happen to live in the American Midwest, the Prairies, northern Alberta, Japan, the Pacific coastline...well, you get the point. From the continuing controversy of the Alberta oilsands to the nuclear crisis in Japan, environmental challenges - and our responses to them - fuel our chatter, newsfeeds and inquisitive minds, as we ask: "What role do we play in all this?" and "What can we do to make a difference?"
Those questions inspired the work of a number of inventive social entrepreneurs who we're shining the spotlight on in the June issue issue of SEE Change Magazine. Some stories - like our review of the documentary GreenWashing - may cause you to question your choices. Others, such as the profile on UK-based BioRegional, may inspire and delight your entrepreneurial senses. Below, you'll find some of the stories in our jam-packed Sustainability Issue, now online.
