2011 In a Nutshell

It’s been an amazing year for Trade as One! Thanks to incredible supporters like you, we’ve continued to educate and excite thousands of people around the US about the importance of fair trade, thus providing dignified work to our producers, and great products for you.

As you—our supporters—stick with us and increase in number, we are able to provide consistent, committed support to 30 producer groups in 40 different countries.

Plus, we took on 3 new producers this year in Kenya, Peru and India!

This year we also became part of the "58 Alliance," an exciting and bold initiative to engage the church to end extreme poverty once and for all.

Thank you for being part of this–there is much to be thankful for, especially for sustainable, dignified jobs for hard-working and talented producers in difficult situations around the world.

Last Minute Gifts

Holiday shipping deadlines approach, but you still have time to place your gift orders and share the importance of fair trade with others! On the Trade as One website we have a gift ideas section to help you easily pick out great gifts for your loved ones. If you want them to choose their own perfect gift, we have electronic gift certificates that can be used as soon as they are ordered, as well as physical gift cards which can be sent in the mail that beautifully tell the Trade as One story. Whatever you choose, it’ll share the important message that fair trade is a way to love our global neighbors who live in the midst of extreme poverty.
