Happy New Year! Many blessings on you and your family in this new year. God is doing an incredible work at RCE and has been reminding us that his mercies are indeed new every morning! We have already been overwhelmed by his faithfulness many times over and are excited to share that with you here. Stay in touch with us daily via Facebook and Twitter. ![]() Call to Action: Become a Volunteer ConsultantThe Regent Center for Entrepreneurship is launching a BRAND NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY. We are looking for 50 professionals to form our charter group of Volunteer Consultants! These are men and women with business experience who are willing to spend one-two hours a week mentoring an African entrepreneur remotely. Your meaningful involvement could change the world. It takes just moments to get started today! You can be a part of the Rwandan miracle. You can help give hope and fan the flames of change. Click here to apply to become a Volunteer Consultant. Not the consultant type? That's okay! Share this incredible opportunity with your friends and family by forwarding this newsletter or sending them to our website. Don't forget to share it on social media! Largest Cohort Yet Begins in RwandaCohort 4 is our largest yet with 51 dynamite learners! What an incredible blessing to have an overflowing classroom. The class meets in a board room used by others during the day, so the room has to be rearranged every day before class starts. We have to add 15 chairs just to accomodate all of our learners. Our Open House after just one week was standing room only! We have some fantastic students in this cohort, including the former Vice-Mayor of Kigali. Momentum for the program is growing! Additionally, we have a number of bids in to offer training to some of the most prominent Rwandan companies. These opportunities came from the incredibly successful Leadership & Customer Care Seminar that we held in October. God's plans for the Rwanda BDC in 2012 might be bigger than we imagined! See for YourselfIncredible new videos of RCE's work in Rwanda are available online, thanks to our friends at the Winshape Foundation. In October, two Chick-Fil-A operators went to Rwanda to share their wisdom and experience with our entrepreneurs and to lead a 2-day seminar on Leadership and Customer Care. God was present! These videos are an absolute must-see! Student Research Group Launches This WeekRCE is starting a new student-led research club called Kingdom Research Fellows. The club is will conduct research related to kingdom business and have a ton of fun while doing so. The Fellows will be publishing valuable research on the RCE website (and beyond) so keep your eyes peeled! The group already has over 15 Master's and Doctoral level students. God is doing incredible work to advance the kingdom business movement, and now students have the opportunity to be involved! Have an interesting topic, idea, or experience? Share it with the Fellows! They will be doing interviews, case studies, and other first-hand research on kingdom business. RCE covets prayers for the following areas: Volunteer Consultants: We know that God has an incredible plan for this new program, but there are a number of hurdles that need to be overcome. Pray that God would choose the right mentors and oversee the matching process. Continued Travel Mercies: With increased opportunities in Rwanda and around the world comes increased travel. Brittany is headed to Colombia next month to teach a seminar on integrating faith and entrepreneurship. We have facilitators flying in to be trained to open new BDCs. Pray that God will be in all the moving pieces. Students: Dr. Mulford is teaching a course at Regent this semester on International Holistic Development which culminates with a trip to Rwanda. Pray for the students as they are beginning to develop projects to accomplish in Rwanda. ![]() Kingdom Business magazine is a quarterly resource for kingdom-minded Christ followers who want to discover how to ![]() |
