What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Statement of Faith
You can find other "Market with Meaning" but you definitely want to see "Profit with Purpose".
I personally "Believe in Kingdom Transformation" because I know there is only ONE "Life for Significant".

Africa Project Ready to Launch Thanks to Gift from Living Stones Foundation

Dr. John Mulford, Director, Regent Center for Entrepreneurship
After much planning and three exploratory trips, RCE will open its first Africa Business Development Center in Rwanda this summer! Jason Benedict and John Mulford will spend seven weeks each in Kigali (August through early December) teaching the first cohort of 50 aspiring entrepreneurs. We welcome visiting entrepreneurs and executives who are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with the students by mentoring and advising them on their business plans.

We could not have committed to the launch in Rwanda without the financial support of Living Stones Foundation, which has funded RCE since its inception and has now made a generous grant of $100,000 for the Rwanda Business Development Center. That coupled with funds raised by our partner, the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), will enable us to operate for the first year in Rwanda in a newly constructed training facility provided by the Rwanda development board. Our business model calls for us to train nationals and help them develop a revenue stream from tuition and consulting fees that will sustain the Center by the end of the third year.

Please pray for us as we walk out this vision from God. If you sense God calling you to use your business experience and partner with us in this endeavor, please contact us at 757.352.4502 or rce@regent.edu to find out more.

RCE Represented at Call2All Next Generation

call2all logoRCE Strategist Jason Benedict recently conducted 2 sessions in the New Zealand Call2Business track of Call2All, a worldwide movement calling the church to a renewed, focused collaborative effort to fulfill the Great Commission, which focuses particularly on the world's 639 remaining unengaged unreached people groups.

Here at the Center, we plan to continue our involvement in this effort with a focus on creating tools that will equip and empower business people around the world for meaningful involvement in the transformation of nations.
