A new blogpost by CSI's Colleen Diamond speaks on the concept of community animation and how CSI, LiveGreen Toronto and Citizen's Environment Watch joined forces in a community animation project that re-invents the ToolKit model to produce a series of five-minute instructional videos to engage communities in energy saving practices.  First two videos are linked from this blog - more to come!

16. Technical Coordinator: Recycling Council of Ontario

The Recycling Council of Ontario (RCO) is not for profit, environmental organization whose mandate is the reduction of waste through the application of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). RCO requires a Technical Coordinator to support the development of its Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (IC&I) Diversion Certification Program. The main objective of this position is to support the development of standardized waste audit and diversion measurement protocols and processes to guide the program applicants. The Technical Coordinator will also lead the development of standardized evaluation and measurement protocols and processes for waste auditors, who will be recognized under the Diversion Certification.
