Do it with joy! The Grameen Creative Lab Bangladesh: Social business facing legal hurdle in Bangladesh, 8.3 million borrower-owners still at stake - German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Dirk Niebel, and Andris Piebalgs, the European Union Commissioner for Development, visited Bangladesh’s Finance Minister Ama Muhith.
- The German Minister raised the issue that German companies investing in social business in Bangladesh were facing legal hurdles.
- After the meeting, the Finance Minister of Bangladesh said that the Bangladeshi government was considering ways to address the issue.
- As you know, Prof. Yunus has been the target of a smear campaign, leading him to step down as a Managing Director of the Grameen Bank.
- Both the independence of 8.3 million poor borrower-owners of Grameen Bank is at stake, as well as the independence of approximately 40 other Grameen companies. The Bangladeshi government has shown interest in taking these over.

- Post tweets on Twitter
- Write Op-Eds for your local newspaper
