Occupying London
RodThe Occupy London movement has polarised opinion. However, while they do not have all the answers, they have at least raised some important questions. On Thursday, we headed down to meet the group on Finsbury Square and talk about how social enterprise can offer a constructive solution. Rodney Schwartz led a workshop on social enterprise in which he praised their stance and called for fundamental changes in the way our banking system is run. You can see the Evening Standard's coverage of the event on their site. We've also uploaded photos from the day on Facebook and will have a full video shortly.

Investor readiness programme
As part of our work for Social Enterprise Day, we held the first of what we hope will be many investor readiness workshops. Rodney Schwartz opened proceedings with a presentation on how to raise finance, while other sessions focused on building an investable team, from team building expert, John Sutherland, and developing an effective communications strategy.
