We've Been Selected as one of Time Out's 100 Best Places to Shop in London!
This is really great news! For more information, click here.

Next Steps Forward: Fundraising, New Product Lines, and Member Initiatives
For some time now, we've talked about taking the next step forward. This means upgrading the kitchen, making structural improvements for accessibility (i.e. lift), bringing in more local suppliers, and much more. To do this, like any business or community organization, we need to raise funds.

You can help us by shopping regularly at TPS (10 pounds a week goes a long way!), pre-loading an account with us, or you can simply donate.

Our members and supporters have already donated a total 2,500 pounds, pre-loaded their accounts with a total of 1,600 pounds, and taken to the streets and their offices to promote the shop in our community.

We want you to be involved! Contact kate@thepeoplessupermarket.org for money matters and tara@thepeoplessupermarket.org for community outreach.

Save the Date: People's Party!
On December 1st and December 2nd, we'll be having parties at the supermarket to launch our new selection of London-brewed beers [available soon]. More details to come, but save the date! We hope to see you all there!

The baking started last Saturday - the team produced a batch of Christmas cakes. We now really need the help of a few cake decorators - please contact amanda@thepeoplessupermarket.org if you are interested
