主題︰ Business Model Canvas Workshop for Social Entrepreneurs

Dear Friends,

Next Tuesday, we’ll be discussing how to map your business model using the Business Model Canvas(BMC), and also explore how the influence of the financing model can also be mapped using the BMC, especially in the case of social enterprises. (It’ll also be the last chance for you to hear from Prof Yves, the co-author of the Business Model Canvas, before he sets sail from our sunny shores.) Look forward to actively participating in this workshop, as we want to hear your thoughts on this proposed framework. So do register at bit.ly/BMCworkshop.

We’ve also included the flyer of a talk on the BOP organized by the Action Community for Entrepreneurship, which also includes a business clinic for companies interested in that space! (see below)

With joy,
The Grameen Creative Lab@NUS

59th ACE BlueSky Exchange – Selling to 4 Billion Customers

The BoP customer refers to the estimated 4 billion people around the world who lives in relative poverty, and are poor by any measure. These group of people generally have limited or no access to essential products and services such as energy, clean water, and communications. Yet, these households often pay higher prices than wealthier consumers do for lower-quality goods and services because of uncompetitive markets.

Join us for this session to learn and understand how to develop business for the BoP Market. Hear from Mr Jack Sim, Founder of World ToiletOrganisation and BoP Hub on how to tap on opportunities from this emerging market.

Seats are limited! Please register here for the event before 22 Feb 13.
