FYI: A new approach in uncertain times

"When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world." George Washington Carver

What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Statement of Faith
You can find other "Market with Meaning" but you definitely want to see "Profit with Purpose".
I personally "Believe in Kingdom Transformation" because I know there is only ONE "Life for Significant".

Catalytic Philanthropy Next Webinar in SSIR Live! Series

January 26 webinar presented by FSG's Mark Kramer

Catalytic philanthropy is a powerful tool to supplement conventional and venture philanthropy, says Mark Kramer, cofounder and managing director of FSG Social Impact Advisors. Catalytic philanthropy is for donors—professionals at foundations and corporations or individual philanthropists—who have the desire and opportunity to achieve social change and the time and resources to become personally involved.

On January 26 at 2 pm EST, Kramer will present "Catalytic Philanthropy—A New Approach in Uncertain Times," as the second webinar in the SSIR Live! series from the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Kramer will highlight four practices for catalytic philanthropists to follow, compare catalytic philanthropy with traditional practices, and provide real-world examples and case studies. Ample time will be given for questions.

This webinar will help professionals at foundations and individual philanthropists examine their practices in a new light to see if catalytic philanthropy can help them improve their impact and effectiveness. The webinar will also be useful for nonprofit executives who want to keep up on the latest thinking and discussions in philanthropy. Kramer's "Catalytic Philanthropy," was a popular and provocative cover article in SSIR's recent Fall issue.

SSIR's publishing director, Regina Starr Ridley, will moderate. For more information and to register for this pay-per-view webinar, click here. The registration fee includes on-demand access to the webinar for 12 months.
