What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Statement of Faith
You can find other "Market with Meaning" but you definitely want to see "Profit with Purpose".
I personally "Believe in Kingdom Transformation" because I know there is only ONE "Life for Significant".

Hello everyone, and happy upcoming weekend!

We invite you to bookmark the Timely Topics website. It is our information portal related to sustainable community development.
The site, which is updated regularly, links to other websites on specific topics. These are:

  • climate change
  • economics
  • energy
  • food security
  • local economies
  • neighbourhood building
  • peak oil
  • resilient communities / sustainability
  • transportation
Also included are sections on recommended books and videos.

Newly added items include Portland's Sustainable Development Plan, a white paper on BC's green economy, and a plan to make the Northwest carbon-free by 2025.

Historically, social, economic, and ecological challenges have been addressed in a piecemeal, uncoordinated manner. The response to all three of these global challenges must be integrated at the community level. Communities must lead the way for regions and nations around the world-and quickly!

It is our hope that the Timely Topics website will assist in equipping community-based organizations with a deeper understanding of these emerging topics, and that they will integrate these learnings into their work on the ground.
