Dear friends,
You could say that 2012 has been a PR disaster of sorts for the social enterprise sector; with A4e making the headlines for all the wrong reasons and corporate tech giants Salesforce persistently trying to take our name in vain.
As these stories rumble on, we’re taking an optimistic outlook at ClearlySo. We recently wrote about an inspiring social enterprise called Vi-Ability that is training young football enthusiasts in the commercial management of a club.
We’re also trying to put a positive spin on the back to school blues, asking whether the social economy can present new untapped opportunities for graduates looking for work.
All that plus the other stories making the headlines, events and jobs in the sector: it’s the ClearlySo newsletter.
Have a great weekend,
The ClearlySo Team

How many of us turn off our screens when we get up to make a cuppa? What about during lunch? How many of us even leave our monitors (or worse, PCs) on overnight? Your computer screen uses energy when left on, even when it's not receiving a signal. This free app from Ecobenefícios turns your screen off when you walk away from your computer by accessing your webcam; potentially saving you and your office from wasting energy.
