在下是社企浪人

繼自由人之後…我被點名為社企浪人。

怪醫秦博士也算是個浪人吧! 況且,能為社企出一分力,小弟願意鞠躬盡瘁。

Last day in Phnom Penh

It is sunny and really warm here.

We had done all meetings finally. A little bit tired but things are more clear than it was discussed on the first day. Hum...that means we are kind of learning pretty much and ready to talk about the local needs.

Will tell you more when i am back. Cambodians and Laos people really needs our prayers.

Documentary in between 1975 and 1979 - Tuol Sleng

A tragedy.

路加福音 - Luke
23:34 當 下 耶 穌 說 、 父 阿 、 赦 免 他 們 . 因 為 他 們 所 作 的 、 他 們 不 曉 得 。 兵 丁 就 拈 鬮 分 他 的 衣 服 。
And Jesus said, Father, let them have forgiveness, for they have no knowledge of what they are doing. And they made division of his clothing among them by the decision of chance.

3rd Day at Cambodia - Punleu church

Punleu means light.

The community is gathering in this church because the pastor cares...he cares like Jesus. He cares they are poor.

Punleu walks out the bible and the bible is eatable because christian is salt of this world.

We are tasteful and attractive.

A true story from Pech's family:

2nd Day at Combodia

We got to leave our hotel at 7am. That is early!

After 3 hours of ride, we arrived Kep and visited a family who owned a farm of 80 hector. All family members are christians who grows crops like banana, jack fruit and sandal wood.

Before we got back to Phom Penp, they showed us another land of pool - potential for crab raising.

I prayed that they can glorify God through this farming business. Nothing is impossble in God.

2nd Day - "legally" plunder...

One of my teammates and I almost got into a fight whether the lodging companies in Laos are doing a good thing for the village.

First of all, my rationale is, they are just a commercial enterprise and they don't care about the people there.

After learning about their contract terms, in a nutshell...they are "legally" plundering the whole village because they took everything from this poor village - labour (village workers) and woods (natural resource).

Yes, I know they are talking about 40% and 60% profit sharing but how much do these villagers know about profit sharing...at the end, the P&L sheet will show right at the year end, this "new registered company" only made US100 after deducting all expenses from the top management. The whole village will share this bonus like US60 and when they look around the village, every tree is chopped out.

I cannot believe this! What an unfair game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But what should we do, as a marketplace christian who is trained in a business world?

2nd Day at Laos - morning

Laos christians experienced His healing this morning.

They have no possession and the only thing they can do is to UNLOAD their daily problems to our Lord Jesus.

However in Hong Kong, we have so many possessions and that is why we need to UNLOAD ourselves. Moreover, we need to UNLEARN our views - especially those terrible worldviews!

1st Day at Laos

"If a foreigner (including Victnamese) share gospel at the street, s/he will be expelled by the government within 24 hours." This is what I heard from a local pastor.

Well...there is a big nomination here.
They have 27 churches in this country and there are around 7000 christians in a church we will go tomorrow morning, for sunday service.

This church will run 4 trainings (for pastor, new leaders for church planting, leaders for social development and kids sunday school teachers).

Sounds like the pastor would like to focus on discipleship than evangelism. He said that every week, there are new believers but lacking of follow up.

Please pray for this church in Laos.

Heading to Laos

It is such an early morning. I woke up at 4:50am. Without having too much sleep (went to bed at 1:45am this morning because of another mission trip to China). I dragged myself out from the bed and after a quick and short clean up process, I dragged my languages along the street towards the bus station...so tired...still dark..people were walking on the street but you knew they were not alive yet..who cares...me either...anyhow, I took the first schedule of the airport shuttle bus at 5:15am.

After sat down on the bus, everyone liked a power-saving machine and they slept right the way.
"Jesus, this morning is quite early but I cannot sleep now. Because I am not sure if I can wake myself up at the right time. Help me, Jesus."

It is going to be an eye-opening mission trip.
